Copying settings between stores

If you manage multiple stores through your Reviewbird account, you can easily copy settings from one store to another. This is great for agencies who optimize a particular formula and want to deploy it to all of their sites, or for merchants who have multiple stores.

Use Copy Settings from Another Store when you want one store to use the same setup as another store in your organization.

This is a one-time copy. Settings are not kept in sync automatically after you copy them.

How To Copy Settings from Another Store

  1. Open the store you want to update.
  2. Go to Store > Settings.
  3. Click Copy Settings from Another Store.

This option appears only when your organization has at least one other store available to copy from.

In the Copy from field, choose the store that already has the settings you want to use.

The settings will be copied into the store you are currently viewing.

After selecting the categories, click Copy Settings.

The selected settings on the current store will be overwritten. This action cannot be undone.

Selecting categories to copy

Under Categories to copy, choose the settings you want to copy.

  • Moderation: Auto-publish rules, Review Guard, and content filters.
  • Review Requests: Timing, product selection, and reminders.
  • Incentives: Discount coupons for reviewers.
  • Branding: Primary brand color.
  • Email Templates: Email design, subjects, and content.
  • Widget: Layout, text, and display options.
  • Languages: Default locale, enabled locales, and translations.
  • Privacy: Reviewer name display format.
  • Product Feeds: Google Product Ratings feed settings.
  • Admin Notifications: Low rating alerts and recipients.
  • Review Triage: Support routing for low-rating reviews.
  • Custom Sender: Custom email address and DNS records.

You can use Select all to copy every category, or choose only the categories you want. Use Deselect all if you want to start over.

Checking copied settings

After copying settings, review the updated areas of the dashboard to make sure they are correct for the destination store.

If you copied Custom Sender, confirm that the from address you configured is correct and that emails send successfully.

If you copied Review Requests, confirm that the timing, product selection, and reminders make sense for the destination store.

Using Store Groups

Store Groups are separate from copying settings.

Use Organization > Store Groups when you want stores with the same products to share approved reviews. Store Groups do not copy dashboard settings between stores.
