Showcase your product reviews

Use a showcase to show approved reviews on a store page. You can select the reviews, the layout, and the information that customers see.

Plan limits

The Free plan includes one showcase. It supports the Slider layout.
The Starter plan includes three showcases. It supports all showcase layouts.
The Plus and Everything plans include an unlimited number of showcases. They support all showcase layouts.

An inactive showcase counts against the plan limit. Delete an unused showcase before you create a new one.

Create a showcase

In Reviewbird, select Showcases.
Select Create Showcase.
Enter a Name. This name identifies the showcase in Reviewbird.
If necessary, enter a Title. This title appears above the showcase.
Select a display mode.
Select a review source.
Change the display controls.
Select Active if you want the showcase to appear on your store.
Select Create showcase.

Select Specific Reviews

Use this source to select approved reviews manually. Search by product, review content, or reviewer. Use the arrow controls to change the review order.

Recent Reviews (All Products)

Use this source to show the most recent approved reviews from all products. Select 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20 reviews. You can also set a minimum star rating.

Recent Reviews (Single Product)

Use this source to show recent approved reviews for one product and its variations. Search for the product by name or SKU. Select the number of reviews and the minimum star rating.

All Reviews

Use this source to show all approved reviews with page controls. This source is available only with the Review Wall layout.

Select a layout

Slider: This layout shows reviews in a horizontal row with navigation controls.
Grid: This layout shows reviews in a grid that changes to fit the screen.
Ticker: This layout moves reviews across the page continuously.
Hero: This layout shows one review in a large area.
Review Wall: This layout shows many reviews with a rating header and page controls.

The Free plan supports the Slider layout only. The Starter, Plus, and Everything plans also support Grid, Ticker, Hero, and Review Wall.

Change the display controls

The available controls depend on the selected layout. You can change these common controls:

Show or hide the product name, reviewer name, and review date.
Show or hide media thumbnails.
Change the card background, star color, card corners, and card shadow.
For WooCommerce, show AI review highlights if this feature is active for your store.

You can also change controls for the selected layout. For example, set the Slider speed and navigation controls, the Grid column count, or the Ticker direction. Review Wall can show a rating header, a rating distribution, and 12, 24, or 36 reviews on each page.

Use the live preview to check the layout. The preview can use selected reviews, recent store reviews, or sample reviews.

Add a showcase to WooCommerce

Create the showcase.
On the edit page, copy the shortcode. The shortcode has this format: [reviewbird_showcase id="123"].
In WordPress, open the page or post where you want the showcase.
Add a Shortcode block.
Paste the shortcode into the block.
Save or publish the page.

Edit, deactivate, or delete a showcase

On the Showcases page, select Edit to change a showcase.
Clear Active to stop showing the showcase. Reviewbird keeps the settings, but the showcase still counts against the plan limit.
Select Delete to remove a showcase permanently. You cannot undo this action.

A shortcode cannot load an inactive or deleted showcase.

Important limits

A showcase shows approved reviews only.
Each Recent Reviews source can show a maximum of 20 reviews. Visitors can use the page controls to load more reviews in Review Wall.
The minimum star rating applies to automatic sources. It does not apply to manually selected reviews.
The Free plan does not show review media. The Starter plan shows a maximum of one image for each review and does not show video. The Plus and Everything plans do not set a media limit for each review.
The All Reviews source is available only with Review Wall.
